Since 1994 as a 501c3 non profit equine rescue. We have rescued many OTTbs and PMU horses. Most have been placed for adoption in kind, loving homes. We currently have some OTTBs that are forever staying here because of old race track injuries, soundness issues, etc. In the past 25 years we have managed to save Thousands of ex TB racehorses, retrain, rehabilitate, and prepare them slowly , the old gentle way of training, treating each TB for thier individual tempermants and personalities. Some stay awhile, some stay forever due to infirmities. We need your help.Ipswich Equine Rescue is in dire need of financial contributions and donations. Since moving from Massachusetts to Texas we have been rescueing and saving both Thoroughbreds and PMU horses and feeding them out of our own pocket. We have recieved very few donations here in Tx.LUCKILY BECAUSE OF OUR 501C3 EQUINE STATUS WE HAVE RECIEVED A FEW SMALL GRANTS. We work 7 days a week in order to purchase/rescue and feed all of our needy equine friends. We are in desperate need of a used 2 horse TB bumper pull extra/tall, extra/wide horse trailer. OUR NEEDS ARE AS FOLLOWS.(1.) A NEW RESCUE FARM IN NEW ENGLAND (2.). We are always in need of contributions for hay, grain, shavings, deworming, farrier, vet bills, vaccines, etc. (3.) We thankfully have a free webpage that allows us to keep things plain and simple(.4.)WE ARE VERY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL TO OUR SPONSORS IN MA.AND TX.DOVER SADDLERY,FARNHAM,RIO VISTA,BIG DEES,PARROT EQUINE ASSOCIATES,ARMAN B.,CHARLIE LANE,GRETA MARSH OF THE MASSACHUSETTS CITIZENS AGAINST DOG RACING AND FOR ALL OF THE GREYHOUNDS YOU HAVE SAVED.ESPECIALLY ''SHAYNA''.SHAYNA IS THE GREYHOUND WHOM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MOVEMENT TO BAN DOG RACING IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.THANK YOU GRETA FOR ALWAYS BEING SUCH A DEAR CLOSE WONDERFUL FRIEND.,LIVENGOOD FEEDS,,TOMBALL,TEXAS,281-255-2668,ANDERSONS FEEDS, MAGNOLIA,TEXAS, 281-252-0010. BLESSING is a tb horse that was never raced, that we saved from a local auction. He was swiftly adopted along with another TB/QH gelding. They now live on 300 acres of pasture and have the sweetest, parents that we could possibly want to adopt.

BAILEY a 33 year old reg. TB mare was our first Texas rescue. She came to us severely emaciated, lived with us for 1 year and went to heaven after we fattened her up, spoiled her rotten. We paid $80.00 for her, and she gave us much pleasure. She is now running free of pain up in horsey heaven.

Keegan came to us locally. He is the dark brown bay TB in the background. He came to us severely underweight and ill. He is pictured here with a 10 month ols pmu colt from Canada. Keegan, after much fattening up, was adopted by former NEW ENGLANDERS.

HOULIGAN was rescued from a Conneticut slaughterhouse back in July 1995. He was once one of the top ten gran prix jumpers.
Houigan was with our rescue farm 8 years then died peacefully from humane euthansia. We were blessed to have been best pals with Houligan for 9 years. Houlie was a favorite amongst the Youth At Risk kids, from Danvers,MASS.
